Kologarn

Like it says, we went through and killed everyone except Ignis ... and maybe someone else, don't remember. Great lead by Fab on this, we work well together. Hope connection issues are resolved, we are going to try and progress further on Monday or sooner depending. Great job everyone, grats to everyone that got loot, glad to see everyone sharing the wealth, that will make Flame Leviathan even easier to beat next week, better gear=stronger vehicles :O)

Best,

Snuf

P.S. I don't know if we can, but I am down to practice Ignis until Monday if anyone wants too, I hate being beat ;o)

Flame Leviathan Downed!
06/02/2009 01:46 PM by Snufleufugus.

Flame Leviathan

Like the title says, it is our first Legends' run pug to down the First Boss in Ulduar!

Thank to Acalera from Fabulous for coming to our first "joint" venture. Today is also Teusday .... BOOOOOOOOO! As always the dev's/admin's broke something so there was/is extended down time. It happens with new patches, however this is a small patch, but significant as our Main Guild Tank is a DK and the soon to be Off Tank is also a DK. To those of you that do not read the patch notes, today Frost Presence has been downed 20%. So our DKs now only get a 60% boost to armor in Frost presence verses the 80% they had before. This will make every run from here on out a bit more challenging. So thank you to all the warriors from Tankspot.com, you all got your wish, now you have more armor ... with your shields :oP

Best,

Your Friendly Neighborhood ROFLstomping Tauren

Guild Charter
01/13/2009 02:20 PM by dodgenweave.

We are currently starting to push into Ulduar on 10 man content. Also we are doing Malygos, OS, and Naxx when we are not pushing through Ulduar content.

We are looking for active mature adult players who are interested in raiding usually 3 times a week.

If you are interested we would love to hear from you. Contact our recruitment officer or any officer if you are interested.

Please take a look at our guild charter, loot, & code of conduct to understand who we are a little better. We look forward to seeing you on the field of battle!

Legends of the Horde Charter

Guild Focus: We are a casual raiding PVP/PVE Horde based guild on the server Blackwing Lair.

Have FUN!

This is our primary focus and why you are playing the game. A game is played for enjoyment and relaxation. When the game stops being fun, when people are bogged down on a daily basis with politics and/or arguments that cause stress, it is no longer worthwhile to log in. If you are not having fun, mix it up and do something that is.

Cohesiveness

We are a close tight knit group. We work as a team and complement one another's weaknesses with our strengths. Our members will indeed learn to get along and enjoy playing with one another. We are not a large guild that can throw people in numbers at a problem. We must maximize what we have and work together in step to conquer the challenges that lay ahead of us.

Guild Direction

We're here to get things done. Raiding and grouping is not required, but we recommend that all guild members participate in order to make the guild stronger. What we are looking to accomplish is to build a guild where each and every member knows and likes the next person and is having FUN and still able to get the job done. We all have our ambitions and we want to meet these goals. This guild will concentrate on progression in both PVP and PVE content. We encourage our members to join us in PVE progression, but also encourage them to do BGs or join a guild arena team. We try to make time for both during the week.

Loot
Oh my...Look at that Booty!

We are a non-DKP guild. We handle loot by giving everyone a fair shot at rolling on drops for their main spec first. If no one needs or can use for their main spec then we go to off-specs at that point. If no one can use, it will be DEed and the shard will be placed in the guild bank, unless it's a BOE item. Those will also be placed in the guild bank for others to use in the future.

However please also be considerate of what your guild mates are wearing and who may need higher priority on loot. What goes around comes around. If it is a slight upgrade for you, but a major upgrade for someone else we encourage you to "pass" on the loot for the betterment of the guild. Council Members will generally stay out of this unless we feel its to the detriment of the guild.

If you are in your trial phase with us, you may not be allowed to roll on main spec loot. That will be determined by Council Members. You will be a higher consideration however than off-spec loot. Your trial phase should not last more than a week most times, unless special circumstances arise.

Please remember loot is a by product of raiding, and for some people the conquering of the bosses is as important as the loot that may drop. So please remember that not everyone wants to hear about what loot you want all the time, it just gives the wrong impression.

Your Responsibility

This is YOUR guild! If we are not doing something befitting of your standards and desires, then be proactive. You have a voice in this guild, but for that right you will also be expected to take responsibility. We welcome your ideas and opinions. Remember to always consider what is best for the guild as a whole. If you don't feel comfortable speaking in front of a crowd, then just get in touch with your most trusted Council Member on a one-on-one basis. We may not always agree with you, but we are here to help you. Information is the key to success. The lines of communication must always be kept open. If we don't know what your issues and concerns are, we can not help you.

Code of Conduct

Rule #1: NO DRAMA! Swift measures will always be taken to avoid drama, conflict, and gossip.

Rule #2: Behave appropriately. We are all adults, however excessive profanity, racial comments/slurs, etc. will not be tolerated in-game or on ANY of the message boards. Do not engage in offensive exchanges in any channels in-game.

Rule #3: Bragging is not something that honorable and respectful guildmates engage in. We are but one guild on the Blackwing Lair server and need to coexist with other guilds and players to make it a better place to play.

Rule #4: Treat your guildmates with respect. We must show the others the same respect that we as players expect to be shown to us, whether they be in the guild or not. You cannot take back things said in jest regardless of your intentions.

Rule #5: Complaints about member behavior are to be limited to respectful private /tells. Should you have any reason to question a member's behavior, the best thing to do is to report the situation to a Council Member. Do not participate in gossip.

Rule #6: You have chosen to be in this guild and should be proud to say so. But you must at all times adhere to our Charter and Code of Conduct whether in a PuG or a guild group. You carry our reputation at all times with you.

Rule #7: We do not put up with Ninja Looters. Period. If you are in a PuG group or raid make sure you clearly understand the rules of loot distribution prior to starting.

Rule #8: The guild bank is our resource as a guild. Do not take things out of the guild bank that you do not personally intend to equip or trade skill with. If we see or hear about you putting stuff on the Auction House, *Twinking*, or giving stuff to friends to use from the guild bank you will be removed from the guild. If you are not sure about what this may or may not apply to, ask a Council Member.

** Other than what is stated, just use common sense and remember that your actions represent Legends of the Horde as a whole. We have always had a very good reputation and you will be expected to live up to it.

Council Members & Responsibilities

As Council Members, we will do what is in the best interest of the guild. The Charter, Code of Conduct, and Raid & Loot Rules will be our guide. There may be times when our decisions are outside the scope of the Charter. Please be respectful when this occurs. It is not always possible to make everyone happy, but we always weigh the pros and cons of a decision and never take it lightly. We will try to be patient and understanding, however there will be times when we are called to make swift and final decisions. Those are the times that you need to put your trust in us and our abilities.
